Managed System of Care Initiative
In September 2009, the Health Funders Partnership of Orange County, in collaboration with CalOptima; Children's Hospital of Orange County; Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian; Integrated Health Holdings, Inc.; Kaiser Permanente; Memorial Care Health Systems; Orange County Health Care Agency; Prime Health Care; St. Joseph Health System; Tenet Health Care; and, University of California Medical Center, retained the services of Health Management Associates (HMA) to develop a plan for the equitable, organized and integrated delivery of health care services for the underserved residents of Orange County.
